Frequently Asked Questions
If you do not find the answer to your questions here, feel free to call us or submit your question on our Contact page.
How far in advance should I schedule my transport?
Plan on giving at least a week’s notice, though in most regions, loading of your vehicle will occur within a few days of placing your order for transport. If expedited pick-up is desired, speak with your transport consultant for details.
Can I guarantee a specific date and time for p/u or delivery?
Unfortunately, no transport company can guarantee specific dates and times for pick-up and delivery. There are simply too many mitigating factors to do so. It is our job to secure the next available carrier with a spot for your vehicle, heading to your desired destination.
What methods of payment are accepted?
All major credit cards are accepted at time of scheduling your vehicle transport. Should you for any reason need to cancel your move at any time before your vehicle has been loaded, your funds will be refunded in full (back to the same card the move was booked with) *Dealers and Corporations may qualify for 30 day invoicing. Ask your account manager for more information.
Do you also offer Enclosed transport?
Absolutely. Specify with your transport representative if you would like a quote for shipping your vehicle in an enclosed style carrier (these types of trucks prevent any/all exposure to the elements.
Will you also transport a non-running vehicle?
Yes. However, it is imperative that you provide as much detail as possible when scheduling your transport, as there as different types of carriers required depending on the condition, and on a situational basis.
Is my vehicle fully insured during transport?
Yes. All Four Transport only partners with licensed and bonded carriers who carry and maintain the proper liability/property insurance to cover in excess the total value of every vehicle on a given load. Insurance is confirmed/verified on every order, and can be provided upon request.
Do I need to be present at time of pick-up and delivery?
It is in your best interest to either be present or have a trusted representative (friend, family, coworker) present at both the origin and destination. One of the most important reasons for this is that at each end (origin/destination) you will be asked to perform a ‘walk-around’ with the driver. After doing so, you will each sign off on the Bill of Lading stating what condition the vehicle left in (origin), and what condition the vehicle arrived in (destination). If issues, incidentals, or damage are not noted on the Bill of Lading at delivery before both parties sign, your claim then loses validity.
Are ETAs provided to me at time of scheduling, and will I receive updates throughout my vehicle’s journey?
Yes. Your transport representative will provide you with ETAs when scheduling your transport, then again after a carrier in our network has been assigned to your move. We will request that the driver also call ahead to both origin and destination to coordinate both loading and delivery.
Is All Four Transport a Licensed Auto Transport Provider?
